Grading Policy (see band handbook for detailed policy)

• Performances are worth 200 points each
• Daily class participation is worth 5 points per day
• Quizzes, playing tests, written assessments are worth 100 points each
• Weekly Practice logs are worth 10 points each, due every Friday
• 2 Concert Critiques are worth 100 points each (due March 26th and May 30th)
  
  ***Several types of extra credit assignments are available for students to earn a maximum of 10 points per assignment. Details can be found in band handbook.
  
  *** All Band students are using Foundations for Superior Performance method book in their daily class warm-ups. These books are available or can be ordered at local music stores or online.
